What is OverlayLive?
OverlayLive is a dashboard that bridges your TikTok LIVE stream — gifts, follows, likes and comments — to a set of OBS-ready overlay widgets: goal counters, leaderboards, chat boxes, join alerts, a live quiz, a social media rotator and more.
Is OverlayLive affiliated with TikTok?
No. OverlayLive is an independent product built on TikTok's public Login Kit and LIVE services. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok Inc. or ByteDance Ltd.
What do I need to use it?
A TikTok account that can go LIVE, and OBS Studio (or any broadcaster that supports Browser Source overlays). Connect your TikTok username on the dashboard, copy the signed overlay URLs into OBS as Browser Sources, and go live.
What data does OverlayLive access from my TikTok account?
If you sign in with TikTok Login Kit, we only receive your TikTok open ID, display name and avatar — TikTok does not provide your email through Login Kit. Separately, connecting a TikTok username to power your overlays reads public LIVE event data (gifts, comments, likes, follows, and viewer nicknames/avatars) for the duration of your stream, used only to drive your own widgets. Will using OverlayLive get my TikTok account flagged or banned?
OverlayLive only reads public LIVE event data through TikTok's own services and never posts, automates actions, or modifies your account — it works the same way OBS itself does, as a passive viewer of your stream's public activity. We can't make guarantees about TikTok's own enforcement decisions, so review TikTok's Terms of Service if you're unsure.
How much does it cost?
One plan, $5/month, everything included, with a 30-day free trial and no credit card required to start.
How do I cancel?
Cancel anytime from the Billing page in your dashboard. Your existing OBS overlay URLs keep working until the end of your current billing period.
Is my payment information safe?
Billing is handled entirely by PayPal. OverlayLive never sees or stores your card details.
Does this work outside the US?
Yes — OverlayLive works anywhere TikTok LIVE and PayPal are both available.
